Chia is extremely healthy for us, these seeds contain Omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for our neural functioning. They also contain many fibers, manganese, Calcium, phosphorus and protein. but what the *$^& do you do with it?
When you put Chia in liquids and wait for it to soften – a gelatinous coating forms around the seeds and they absorb the liquid around it. You can use this function to make Chia water with some lemon and a sweetener, or you can make this great pudding very easily.
In my case I had a hat full of passion fruit so I decided to make this great dessert. but you could put other fruits or even granola to upgrade. I think I have to give this dessert the title “The easiest dessert I’ve ever made” and I’m sure that no one would realize how easy this was to make.
*Just remember to prepare a few hours prior to eating – the Chia needs to soften
