Adi’s Lentil and Chard soup

I was introduced to this soup by my dear friend Adi. It’s delicious!

if you prefer- you can try making this soup with Spinach instead of chard.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil for 5-10 minutes until soften
  2. Add the Carrots, pumpkin and lentils and stir.
  3. Add the spices, stir for another 2-3 minutes
  4. Add the water and keep cooking until the soup is boiling. cook on a lower flame for another 10 minutes
  5. Add the chard (and wine?) and serve when it is soft. you can add a few drops of lemon upon serving.
